In match No.14 of IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians suffered a third consecutive loss as Rajasthan Royals cruised comfortably to a win by six wickets at the Wankhede Stadium.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bowl first, and the faith was repaid immediately. Trent Boult (4-0-22-3) removed Rohit Sharma and Naman Dhir (both 0 off 1) in the first over. Boult then came back to take his third wicket in his second over and Mumbai Indians’ wheels just came off.

Skipper Hardik Pandya (34 off 21) tried his best to steady the ship, but Yuzvendra Chahal(4-0-11-3) got the better of him and MI could only muster 125/9.

Rajasthan Royals at no point in their chase looked like they would be losing the match, Akash Madhwal (4-0-20-3) took the fight to them but it wasn’t enough as Riyan Parag (54 off 39) made even shorter work of an already short chase.
