Gautam Gambhir before the Ind-Pak clash:

India is in a very good stage in the World Cup. They won both matches in the tournament before the India-Pakistan clash. He praised Rohit Sharma and said, “You won’t just look at the quality but the sort of shots that were played. You can ignore the attack because of the way he dominated, these are great signs that it has come early in the World Cup.”

He added, “ He didn’t score runs in the first match but the way he batted today, especially when the next match is India-Pakistan, you want to go to that match after scoring runs. You don’t want to go with two back-to-back failures and Rohit Sharma will get a lot of confidence from this knock.”

On October 14, India will face Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. It is one of the biggest rivalries in the cricket world. In the Asia Cup, India defeated Pakistan by 228 runs. They will try to take the revenge. On the other side, India will try hard to keep the winning record unbreakable.
