In what has been the latest development as per the reports in RevzSports, it is learned that Pakistan journalists have received their visas for the ICC World Cup 2023. The reports suggested that various media personnel from Karachi have received confirmation. 

The visa agencies have confirmed the development of the journos and it is learned that media persons from Pakistan will arrive in India on 14th October, when India vs Pakistan will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

A total of 60 Pakistan journalists will be arriving in India and will be covering the ICC World Cup 2023. Recently a lot of controversy erupted after media personnel weren’t issued visas for the marquee tournament. 

BCCI and the Indian embassy received a lot of flake and the matter was even taken to the ICC as well. The Pakistan Cricket Team themselves weren’t given visas on time. The documents of the team were quite late as compared to other teams and they had to change their plans as well. 

The visa delay for the Pakistan Cricket Team and now journalists are speculated to be due to the political tensions between the two countries. It’s the first time since the 2016 T20 World Cup that Men in Green are playing in India.

IND vs PAK: Pakistan win two back-to-back games in the ICC World Cup 2023 

Pakistan team had a great start to their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign. The Babar Azam-led side won two back-to-back games and made sure that they made a statement early on in the tournament. They started the tournament with an 81-run win against the Netherlands. 

Pakistan’s best performance came in the second match against Sri Lanka. They were set a big target of 345 runs for the chase. They lost early wickets but centuries by Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan won them the game. It was Pakistan’s highest run chase in the history of the marquee event.
