The 29-year-old Pakistan National Cricket Team pacer Haris Rauf was frustrated after getting smashed by the India National Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma during the high-voltage clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 14.

The premier Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf looked absolutely clueless in the match against India and he wasn’t able to make any impact with his express pace. Rauf was especially taken to cleaners by India skipper Rohit Sharma, who played an absolutely stupendous knock in the match. Haris Rauf bowled 4 overs in his first spell and was smashed for 34 runs.

Rauf was clearly frustrated after getting hit all over the park and he expressed it in the 11th over of the innings. On the 5th ball of the over, he bowled a fullish-length delivery outside off-stump and Iyer drove it back to the pacer. Rauf collected the ball and fired it back in Iyer’s direction in frustration.

The crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium suddenly woke up and they bodied the Pakistan pacer with loud boos.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bowl first in the match. The bowlers were unable to deliver initially as the top 4 of Team Pakistan played good cricket.

Abdullah Shafique (20) and Imam-ul-Haq (36) looked good in the middle and played some beautiful strokes. However, they were unable to convert their good starts into big scores.

Then, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan joined hands and batted really well. The duo played cautious cricket and added 82 runs in 103 balls.

However, Indian bowlers made an exceptional comeback in the match and destroyed the batting unit of Men In Green and bundled them out for 191. The Babar Azam-led side looked set to go past 300, but they suffered a horrible collapse and went from 155/2 to 191/10 in no time.

Chasing the target, Rohit Sharma scored a sensational 86 runs off 63 balls, with 6 fours and 6 sixes. He was well supported by other batters and India hammered the arch-rivals by 7 wickets to extend their World Cup-winning streak to 8-0.
