Indian team has encountered numerous criticisms from the pakistan cricket fans , after a huge defeat in the U-19 world cup against australia which took place on February 11 . Irfan pathan , former indian cricketer , lashed the criticisms which was directed towards indian team by calling pakistan fans as “keyboard warriors” in his twitter page.

The unexpected defeat: 

The U-19 world cup came to an end on February 11 with an emotional loss for Indian team fans , as the Australians lifted the trophy for the 4th time in U-19 world cup. The Australians batted first and put up a huge total of 253 runs on board , with a major contribution of their top order batsmans , for Indian team to chase but the Indian team’s top order was totally collapsed by the spin and fast bowling of the australians that marked the unexpected defeat of Indian team which could only score 174 runs in 43.5 overs.

Following the defeat in U- 19 world cup indian team faced innumerable trolls, from paksitan fans , for their consecutive defeat against australians  in a world cup final . This incident  provoked the rage of  Irfan pathan , the former Indian cricketer , as he posted that pakistan fans are “keyboard warriors” who ” find pleasure in indian youngster’s defeat “. He furthur added that ” This negative mindset reflects poorly on their nation’s mindset “. This post received a mixed reactions from the audience as many people considered it as unnecessary. 

The unfortunate events of indian team’s defeat against austrailans in both Under -19 worldcup and the men’s world cup led to the backlashes in social media but the indian fans hope that indian team will stage a come back in both U-19 world cup and men’s worldcup in their upcoming matches.
