Reece Topley has put England in the top position in the ongoing match 7 of the ICC World Cup 2023 against Bangladesh. The left-arm pacer has rattled the top order of the opposition with his staggering bowling at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

After England posted a gigantic total of 364 runs on the board, Reece Topley made sure that his side was off the flier with the ball. The lanky pacer picked three wickets in no time and among all the scalps, the delivery that got Shakib Al Hasan out caught the attention of many.

Reece Topley bowled an unplayable delivery to which Shakib Al Hasan had no clue. He bowled a delivery from over the wicket that angeled in. The batter was drawn forward but to his surprise, the ball went straight in to beat the batter.

The ball from Reece Topley beat Shakib Al Hasan’s defense and went on to crash into the top of the off-stump.

ENG vs BAN: England post 364 runs on the board

England were asked to bat first and they had a fiery start with the bat. Jonny Bairstow (52) and Dawid Malan (140) took bowlers to the cleaners and smashed them all over the park. After the wicket of Bairstow, Joe Root (82) asserted his authority.

But in search of quick runs, England lost wickets in clusters and Bangladesh were back in the game. Captain Jos Buttler (20) and Harry Brook (20) played shots but couldn’t carry on. Small contributions from the lower order powered them to a total of 364 runs.
