After the heartbreaking loss against Australia in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 by six wickets, the team India will have to quickly regroup as they have a packed schedule ahead in the next three months. Right after the World Cup, the Men in Blue will lock horns with Australia in a five-match T20I series beginning on Thursday, November 23.
The Rohit Sharma-led side will then tour South Africa in December for three T20Is and as many ODIs. They will also take on the Proteas in a two-match Test series. Furthermore, India will begin the new year with a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan followed by a long five-match Test series against England beginning in the last week of January.
The upcoming tours will be full of T20 action as the prime focus of the team will be on the T20 World Cup 2024 scheduled to take place in the US and the West Indies.
